Comment by samsmom ship 12 Div 071 on December 12, 2012 at 4:26pm I love this idea. It's almost Christmas and have been looking for an ornament or nutcracker or something that I can put in the house representing my son to help feel his presence here while he's in BC. This blue candle is just what I was looking for...going out to get mine today!
Comment by Storymom on December 10, 2012 at 4:07pm momma: sounds like you got your money's worth out of that little sweet candle!
BravoZulu to your boy, graduation just around the corner!

Comment by Chris, Forever Ray's Proud Mom on November 29, 2012 at 6:25pm FeatheredNest, any blue candle will work, just find what makes you happy! Lighting a blue candle is a show of support for our Sailors and all Service men and women. Walmart or the dollar tree sell a variety, also, check out "scented with love" on Facebook, they can personalize anything.

And this 2nd link has been mentioned here too-its a warmer I think? anyway, I use blue candles I find at garage sales, or in my local stores, or I buy blue glass containers and put a votive inside.Whatever works for you. Some examples of what other navyformoms do with their blue candles at/near page 5 here in these pages....it 'moves around' as we post more and more, but I found some pictures on page 5 today.
Here's the 2nd link http://www.saferthancandles.com/patriot-collection-navy
