I may not physically be able to go out and attend an event, so i will light my BLUE CANDLE in memory of Past, Present and Future Saliors. My daughter is a Seaman and I am very proud of her and honored to have a woman such as her self in my life and family. Bless you all

I will light a blue candle for our soldiers past and present, the ones who are still with us and the ones who are not. Also, for my son who is presently away on detachment.

Richie, my husband, and I love the idea of the "Blue Candle Lighting"! It is a nice way to honor "Our Sailor", and All Sailors. Justin is coming home, to Denver, Colorado for the Memorial weekend! It's only for a few days, but I Thank God for every minute! "Could not Love him more and could not be more Proud of him"!!! God Bless all Sailors and we pray for their safety! HI ladies and so glad to see you are all still burning our blue candles. Yes there are many ways to save and still burn our candles. I have even gone to Hobby Lobby and found two glass candle holders painted with the red white and blue and put my candles in them. This is a great time of year to find the old "red white and blue" and I must confess my whole side porch facing the street is all red white and blue and a blue candle is burning during the evening hours when it is not windy and can still be seen from the street. I am so happy all are still burning them... It is true when I walk by and see them burning I am amazed and you know it is harder to find blue candles now.....seems there are many many navy moms out there picking up those candles every chance we get.
You go Navy MOMS and yes I will be burning many the next few weeks as we move closer to MEMORIAL DAY.
