Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Event Description

ANYONE may attend...the Ramada does this for every PIR group as a courtesy, it is free. There will be many there that don’t know about N4M’s!

The hostess will make a name tag for you . Half way through the evening she will come in and offer anyone to come up and introduce themselves.

Those staying at the Ramada will get a voucher for two free drinks and they have a cash bar. They have five or six kinds of finger foods. They do not mind if you bring in a water or soft drink with you. The RSVP just helps them get a head count so they know how much food to prepare. But I am sure they make a bit extra!

We just booked our trip. We will be leaving Seattle on Wed and returning on Mon. We are staying at the Ramada. Looking forward to meeting you all and seeing my sailor!

You do not have to rsvp for this, they will give you the 2 drink tickets and the finger foods from 6pm-8pm Thursday night. But you can do it on here anyway if you would like. You will want to get an early flight so you can get to hotel for relaxation, you can check in at 3pm, and maybe even earlier I was told. I spoke to Sheena tonight, she was most awesome! She told me to tell you guys that they are here for us 24 hours a day to answer any of our questions. Make sure the card you use to book reservation, you bring it with you, they need the card and you to charge the room. So don't forget it! If it's snowing don't worry, they are good at plowing the roads and salting them. You don't need chains for your car or rental vehicle. Also if your child is 12yrs or older just have them bring a school ID, and SS (but that is not necessary, just school ID) Bring proof of car insurance for SURE, if you have a rental car and get insurance through the rental, then they (the base) only need to see car rental contract. Ceremony starts at 9am, base opens at 6:30am. Ramada complimentary shuttle leaves at 7am-7:15am. You can leave then too with your rental car because they start seating at 8am. The base is located 10-15 minutes away from the Ramada Inn. She hooked myself and daughter up with a great room. I'm looking forward to meeting the other families and seeing my son graduate. God is good.
