OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

NOTE: Photos have been reposted to our  San Francisco Bay Area group's page. Our group's page is NOT visible to everyone - only to members of the groups while the event/rsvp page is public.  My husband and I had a wonderful time, meeting new friends and seeing "old" friends. Can't wait for the next one.

Waitin' at PDX to board the plane. Bea won't have any problem finding me in my Devil Doc University t-shirt with my Navy Mom canvas bag over my shoulder and a "Proud Parent of a Sailor" bumper sticker on my carry on luggage! Did I mention the 20 year old Liz Claiborne pea coat??? LOL!
