Hi All, I am sorry that i didnt get to meet anyone except pam and tina for a quick moment. My flight to chicago was delayed 7hrs and didnt get to my hotel until 3:30am. So i was working with 2hrs of sleep the day of pir. The trip did turned out to be one of the best. We all had so much fun. Best wishes to all our new sailors!!!

SONIA hi girlfriend .... so glad to see you made it back okay... that nasty storm in chicago really messed alot of people up... girl it was so good to meet you.... and that grand baby of yours is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looks like i get to go to washington dc in about 8 weeks.... i hear the graduation from there is awesome and a must see!!!!!!!!!! i can only imagine with them being honor guards what that performance will be like ... lol well i am going to be leaning on you guys through this next 2 months until phillip gets out of this boot camp... thnak you all for being here for me and i love ya everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pam i was so looking forward to meeting everyone. I would like to keep in contact. Yes you can lean on me to get through the next 2 mths. I'll be back in school at the end of aug(so not looking forward). Susy is in Monterey now she said it is so beautiful there and she sound so upbeat. What did you do when you were in chicago? Did you go to the fireworks for the 4th? I started to email you to meet up but susy had an agenda that was all day. By the time we gotten back to the hotel everyone was pooped and didnt want to go the fireworks.

sonia i am not sure I have a paper form i got from the navy lodge to purchase them .. let me see if i can scan it and send it to you email .. I will have to do that tom though... it cost i think it says 29.99 if i am not mistaken.

okay let me see what i can do tom and maybe i can get it to you ... i will have my laptop with me tom so maybe if i cant scan it you can give me your fax number and i can at least do that.... cool beans?

No we all sat outside trying to see them from the lodge... we too were pooped....LOL girl i was so ready for bed by 7pm every night ....LOLwe went to chicago to see the sears tower... rode the train downtown and lost my cell phone on the train coming back to gl and we went to the gurnee mall and ate at the rainforest cafe... that was awesome... i got a shirt made there in the mall that has phillips formal boot camp picture on it with Proud Navy Mom on it...had a blast .. that store in that mall had alllllll kind's of navy stuff in it... i got that t shirt and a ball cap with navy mom on it and got key chains and shot glass ( i collect them from places we go ) i got a picture frame with the navy seal on it and the words Navy cut out of wood and inserted into the frame it is beautiful...

Pam i wished i had saw that store. Susy and one of her sailor friends went to the movies, valencia couldnt get in because of Sanai they didnt allow children under 7yrs in a R rated film. So we went shopping for 2hrs, gurnee mall was so huge. Was phillip paronoid about time? I went to macy's downtown chicago and got susy a fossel watch as a gift for pir. she was so paronoid about the time every min ( it was getting on my nerves). Did you go to taste of chicago, we went and the people were handing susy and her friend free tickets. People were also saying thank you to them and i felt so proud of her.
