We are. What div. is your daughter in. Our son is in Div. 117 Ship10. We actually are leaving Wed. it takes like 15 hours to get there.

She is Div.121 Ship # 9...What's your son's name?? MY daughter is Jena...We leave from Jersey Wed nite/ Thurs. morning 4 am. I will be wearing something that says Navy 4 Moms on it so maybe I'll see you ther. Congratulations to you & yours!!!

You might want to look into flying into Midway airport. It is smaller, and cheaper for me.

I paid 179.00 roundtrip from Orlando to O'hare, I am flying Wed nite and flying back monday nite, I saved about 65.00 per ticket.=non-stop....

We are driving...yikes. Congratulations to Bryan!! Jen also has liberty for the weekend. You guys enjoy every minute. I mentioned earlier I will be wearing something to id me as a Navy for Mom-er, so hopefully I will run tnto you!

I am going, my son is in div 120 ship 07. Can't wait to see him. Where is everyone staying? I am staying at the courtyard marriott Waukegan/Gurnee.. They have a great shuttle to the base from what I understand.

My grad told me Saturday when he called that he would get to call me Wed. as well, we couldn't talk for long. He had his order's but couldn't open them yet.

It's been a long and short 8 weeks, he get's my letters 7-10 from when I send them. I get his quickly though. I was told by someone who was in the Navy that the read the letters first to make sure that they are not given in traumatic info. if they do they shred it..

Anyway I am just glad this time is here.
Glad to have found this website, wish I would have known about in the begining..
