This is the best snowball ever! I’ve been so curious…how did you find out about our community? Some moms have told me about the http://www.nstc.navy.mil/rtcgl/family/index.html site… Is that were you found us... or was it through another source? Thank you!

UPDATE 4/20/2008: Hi Everyone! I brought this forward because I really want to know! :) How did you find out about us?!

UPDATE: 2/17/2010: Hello N4M's. We are interested in where all of our members founds us! Stop by and leave a message.

Thank you for making this community what it is today!

I found out about the community through www.nstc.navy.mil/rtcgl site. I read about it sometime ago, but I'm not very computer literate. Hopefully, I will be able to post this one.
I found it as a link on the RTC Great Lakes website. Thanks for being here.
I found about this site l5 minutes ago on a commericail in Arkansas..i think it is awesome to be able to share
our experiences of our sons and daughters in the Navy...Lynn
I went on the website for boot camp to check the weather there and there was a link for this new site, which I instantly clicked on.
I really could not tell you how I found you all...I knew there had to be a place to come and share things with each other since my other son is in the Marines because we had a board some what like this one for him so I knew there had to be a Navy website like this one. I think I found you through just pure luck...Thank you all for being there for each other it really means alot.
Hehe. We are really happy have to be here for you Donna!
I have checked that site almost everyday since our son left and yesterday was the first time I saw it on there.
I'm on a Navy moms yahoo group, and I sent info about this group.

My Navy daughter told me about it.

My son's recruiter called and asked me if I'd be interested in a new "marketing campaign" the Navy was starting up and one was to be part of the Navy Moms board. I did not get the chance to help with any creation of the website, but got the link when it was up and running.

I have told Navy Moms for another Delphi Forums group and I see a couple on here already.

So welcome all Mom's and have fun with it....

I kind of touched on this before but: My cohorts team and I hope that down the road, with the sites success, that we can make this more of Navy Family Site- But we decided to start this off with moms.

No worries 8404- we are still thinking of the famly. :)
Dad's, brothers, uncles, grandfathers are welcome to join us!...Heh, You could be right on that... we actually have a handful of men on here... but most of them are quieter. I hope some dad starts up a Navy Dad group soon on this site :) Sincerely, Catherine
