Not sure but be sure before you do or get Insurance. I just found out my son may be staying in Chicago where he was supposed to be a grad & go to Pensacola. Now I am having all sorts of issues with the airport about switiching so my son is not alone on his w.e

Thanks for the tip, Paula. A few weeks ago I found a fare for $309 round trip from San Diego..now it's $406

I believe that his PIR date will be 10-24. I think that it is DIV 398-409?? My son Zach is in Div 402 and this is when his PIR date is. Follow that link below and it will tell you for sure and you can always check with his recruiter.

Please research the insurance situation carefully. We purchased travel insurance, that included trip cancellation and interruption, for my son's PIR on 9/12. On the way home, our flight was diverted to Memphis and we were going to have to stay overnight there, then fly on to New Orleans the following morning. Since we all had to be back for work and school, this wasn't a good option. So we chose to fly into another city, rent a car, and drive back to the airport to pick up the car. When I tried to file a claim, I was told that a) the trip cancellation insurance wouldn't cover because the trip was cancelled by the airlines and it was their equipment that caused the cancellation and b)the trip interruption insurance wouldn't cover because we were delayed less than 12 hours.

Next time, I'll save my $$ and apply it to the rental car!

The PIR date for div 399 is Friday Oct.24
