Navy For Moms

I am so stressed, probably for no reason!

Has anyone else taken Amtrak for travel? I would need to get on the train early tuesday to make Rob's PIR on Friday (Nov 14). With his foot and all I worry what if something goes wrong with BS or other testing during that time. I would already be on my way if he is delayed at all. I know I should think positive but I am a worry wort at times, well honestly most of the time.

So was hoping anyone else that has traveled Amtrak could advise me on if its a good idea or if I should try to come up with extra money for Airplane?

Thanks all

The train station is in Chicago and you would have to rent a car to get to GL. Wheather you drive or take a train or aplane you need a good road map for getting around in the area once you are there. And if there are any toll roads find out where and how much the tolls are and be prepared.
The freeway leading into Great Lakes is a toll road. I believe it's a dollar.
