Navy For Moms

I got to talk to my husband because of any emergency situation that arouse at home yesterday. Dont be to worried if you haven't received anything from your recruit yet. He said that he had sent some letters out Monday and we are up in WA. He was really emotional and that was hard but it was good to hear his voice. You should be hearing from them soon if you haven't already. I don't know when they can make phone calls but hopefully soon.

It just depends on what they are doing. They should be getting one more before graduation. Dont know when it will be but hopefully soon. Are you going over for graduation??

I guess I was very lucky with my sons last division, because we recevied a 40 min phone call and a 30 min phone call. No call since he switched divisions. My son was originally going to graduate 3/13/09 and I still kepted track of that group of recruits. So if it follows the same schedule they they could start battlestations tomorrow they didn't do any on the weekend and then started again Monday. They go in order by division number. It starts at 7:30pm and ends the following day at 10:30am. If they pass they should get to call home that day to let us know they are now sailors. So at the earliest I think the phones calls may start Friday. There doen't seem to be as many division though so they may not start until Monday. I look forward to hearing when you get your calls. Hang in there, we're almost there.

Our boy isn't in this Division any more.
He failed his pushup portion of the PT so they moved him.
He passed it the next day but is still moved.
We do not know which division he is in now.

Amanda,
I'm sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel. My son was supposed to graduate on the 13th and with only ten days left he called to tell me he got pushed back two weeks for something he did. I just telling my self everything happens for a reason, although I haven't figured it out what yet. Did Ryan tell you his new division or if his new division has liberty or if they are a grad n go. This was the worst part for me because know I had to change all my plans and until two days ago I couldn't find out if he was grad n go or not. I just getting told my son had to tell me and thats pretty difficult when he can't pick up a phone and call. They way I look at it is I'm thankful they only sent my son back two week and didn't send him home. So hang in there everything will work out.
