Hi Marie - I live in The Woodlands and have a daugther in P-Cola for her A School. Her PIR was 1/30/09 and she stayed in GL until April for some of her training. She got to Pensacola the end of April and finally started her A School this week. She is AE and is 20 years old. Hope to hear from you sometime. I'm on othe Penscola site alot. Hope your son is doing well.

I live in Spring and have a son who's a Nuke at Goose Creek. He's starting Nuclear Power School on Aug. 6 but is home on leave right now. YAY!!!

Hi Houston mom's, I live in La Porte and had the pleasure to go to Beaumont last night to meet with other mom's. We had a great time getting to know each other and our sailor's. I sure would love to have a get together with mom's closer to me? Can anyone out there have a get together here or closer than Beaumont? We all have something in common and it's good to met others. Let's have a get together for our children and make them proud.

I am from Northwest Houston by 290 and 1960! I am also interested in getting together with other moms. I placed a comment on the Texas Moms but I am not sure if that means I have joined? I did not quite understand a specific joining process?

Hi Houston Moms! I live in League City and trying to coordinate a get together on Thursday August 20 at 6pm at Las Brisas Mexican restaurant. It is on I45 in League City. We would love to see you there! I have been trying to get a group together for regular meetings but haven't been successful as of yet. Please let me know if you can make it as I need to call the restaurant and give them a heads up. If you go to the discussion League City, and surrounding areas the info is all there. Again...hope to meet you all next week.

I am from Houston but I have lived in San Diego for about 18 years. My son is stationed here on the USS Ronald Reagan.

You can take the girl out of Texas, but...

I miss Texas, the only thing is when I go visit family...the cigarette smoke is a shock...not much public smoking here.
