No, there are no tickets- just names on a list.

Your sailor is to put 4 name on a list, those 4 people will be allowed in to the PIR, you will get a list of who is on the list when you get his grad pack from the Navy it should come 3-4 weeks before his PIR. You will also get 1 parking pack and a pamphlet with hotels listed. Children under 12 do not count against the 4 allowed seat. You will get all this info in your grad pack. they don't even ask for names. we had five people and no one said a word to us and the upper deck was still completely empty. they dont give tickets. they check id in the parking lot though. i would say as long as you dont have a herd of people no one will sa anything. if you do have a lot of people act as if you are two groups to make your group look smaller. but trust me, this is something you don't want to miss so bring people! dont worry about it.

One thing, though. Even though they don't allow more than four people for each recruit, everybody else can still SEE the recruit. It's not like they graduate then are required to be somewhere else immediately. After my daughter's graduation, I spent the entire weekend with her. My son had to leave immediately for Groton, but I still had the opportunity to eat lunch with him. So, just because you may not be allowed admittance to the actual ceremony, you will still be able to see your recruit. And believe me, HE will be as ready to see YOU as YOU are to see HIM! BTW, I always wore a red coat or sweater so my child could find me in the audience. And, too, you will be able to sit directly in front of where he is expected to be so you can HUNT for him, too. Remember, hundreds of kids will all be dressed just alike, so this task is NOT as easy as it sounds!

I received the packet today. 4 names are spelled out as intended people attending, parking pass, brochure with list of hotels, motels and events in area. I also have 5 people that need to atttend if you find out if this is possible, please advise. Thanks.

I received mine today, there are up to 4 people listed to attend spelled out, a brochure of hotels and sites in the area and a parking permit. The brochure has instructions of event times, etc, do's and dont's.
