yes he is staying in Great Lakes. I really hope that he gets to stay overnight that would be awesome!!!!!

You should add yourself to the PIR 1-15-09 group they are amazing. We talk all the time about our sailors and upcoming events and we really do support each other

FYI:

All recruites do NOT grad on Friday. Look at this week, they are grading on the 24th Dec. It is NOT true all of them get liberty weekend.

Sailors are NOT to drink after PIR, they have NOT earned the privilage to do that, it is also STRONGLY discouraged for them to smoke.

Hi Napolean and Yvette- Downtown Chicago is incredible. The Navy Pier is a must see, also. In January though it will be so incredibly cold. You can eat a Gumps at Navy Pier, and at least see a bit of downtown.

We are staying at the navy lodge and I think there is a train to chicago nearby. We want to see the tower, John hancock observatory, and MJ's place!

That is awesome! I cant wait to see Chicago. I have never been there but always wanted to! Jon said he thought his whole DIV got Liberty that weekend. So Angie, Napoleon,and Yvette we should get to see our Sailors all weekend!!
