Questions for anyone who had a sailor deploy in the RESERVES in the intelligence field

I was wondering if anyone knew how sailors in the intelligence field get deployed. I have heard so many different things: they wont deploy unitl they make E5, they can deploy without being E5, most deploys are a year and not on a boat but somewhere like iraq or bahrain. also, does every reserve sailor always get delpoyed? What are the chances?
