here is the link to your PIR group.....lots of info and support

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir06152012

Your rct is in a Performing Division.....which means he sings, play an instrument, carries a flag, or works behind the scenes opening doors, etc

You should join the existing group already established for those with PIR on June 1, 2012. See the link (that's the string of words that begins with "http://" or underlined words on which the mouse changes from a little pointer to a hand) above?  Click on it. When the page for the group opens up, click "+JOIN" (located on the upper right of the page) to join the group - that is it. Good luck.

Join the group, PIR 06/15/2012 TG 31 - 11 Divisions (177 - 186 & 931), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  You may also want to join 900's division sailors since there will be information there related to the performing divisions.  Other groups you may want to join, or at least check out, are Boot Camp Mom's, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here

(Group names within this reply are clickable links.  To join a group, click on the group name and then look in the upper right for a tab that says + Join .... and click on it.)

Start with our Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). Watch the Videos. Look at the PDF files of boot camp processing days. Click on the links to all the important groups and join them (Bootcamp moms, Leaving for Bootcamp in June). There are tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient.

The link to the Recruit Training Command is important. Print out the Family Guide.

Good luck.
