My son has a fixed lower retainer. He didn't have to do anything about it.

Our son has the retainer also and no problems.

he will be seen by the US Navy denist while at boot camp ,they will take good care of his teeth. my son had his teeth cleaned two teeth fixed while in boot camp.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed, did pretty well. I don't think you have to worry but they will inform him.

WOW!!! What an excellent question. Didn't even think about my son's braces! He just had them removed. Do they have orthodonists that he will be able to see? He hasn't left for bootcamp yet, he's a depper, but I didn't even think about his after care for his orthodontics!!!
