Only 10 more days till we take off for Great Lakes.. We're driving from Pensacola, Florida to Great Lakes, IL. My heart feels like it's as big as a Red Balloon...and it can explode at any moment. I'm so very Proud of my Son, Eddie and every other Son & Daughter that's Chose to Serve Our Wonderful U.S.
We are staying at the Ramada Inn -Gurnee,IL. I hope to meet the Wonderful Mothers of all of our Brave and Loving Recruits. I hope and Pray you all have a Safe and Blessed next couple of Weeks ahead and that we get through this safely.

Hi Tracy... How are you today ? I hope your doing well . I did recieve a letter from my Eddie on Thursday Afternoon...I was so very Happy to hear from him. He said BC was good...The food was pretty good too. He did get in trouble for talking once, lol... But all in all He was doing fine. And on Friday about 5:30 PM I got my phone call from Eddie. Let me tell you....I was becide myself. He only had 20 minutes..So I tlaked for a few and his brother talked for a few. His dad was not home, so I gave Eddie the # so he could talk to his dad. I would be heart broken if Eddie''s dad didn't get to talk to his son. I hope and Pray that you hear from your son soon. Please keep in touch and let me know how you're doing. I'm not sure when I'll hear from my son again..So I keep his letter close by, that way I can read it when ever I want to.

Hi Tracy...Thanks for writing back. I haven't recieved a letter at all...I can't sleep and it has made me just sick , because I worry about my son. I know he's in good hands and all..But he's my son and I have never really been away from him. I think it hurt the most knowing his ex-girlfriend got the first letter and not me. I know I sound selfish..I shouldn't feel this way. I'm trying to keep my Spirits up. I write to him every day..always Good letters. I hope you get to hear from your son this weekend too. Well, I'm off to the Third Shift.

I haven't gotten another phone call either but I am hoping maybe this weekend. I recieved a letter last week but nothing since. Hopefully we both will hear from the guys soon.

Good Morning..
I'm Lynn (Eddie's Momma) my son is in DIV 937 and his Graduation is Scheduled for the 31st of July. I'm so very proud of my Eddie..He's a Wonderful young Man. But I guess we all think that about our Children . loI ..I have not heard from my son , other than the ( I'm here and I love you Mom ) phone call. It's been 24 days and I miss my Son so very much. I do write to Eddie every day..I want him to know How much we love, miss him and How very proud We are of him.
