Brian bought his plane ticket too! He'll be coming home the 20th-28th. Same with brian he wants to make sure he is prepared, for when everyone is expeceted back.
Susan do you know if when they graduate they get a week or two to come home? Seems like a lot of Sailors get to come home after 'A' school...but I'm not sure if its based on what their in for?..I hope that made sense :)

Just got word from " Sully" he has his plane tickets for Christmas. He is coming home the 19th. I cant wait to see him. He is only staying till the 28th so he can be sure to be there on time and ready for his first day. He wants to save some time for after school. Have any recruiters offered a deal? Ours has stated if he comes home on leave and works with the recruiter a few hours a day for 5 days he can get more leave time. Sean is saving that for later, but just an option if your recruiters offer that.

It takes about a week for him to get settledd in. He should call you with a address to send stuff too and then you can send him some clothes, cell phone and his lap top if he has one. If he doesn't that will probably be the first thing he purchases..... LOL... He can call you whenver he wants now (once he gets his phone). They have dorm rooms (more like college) with a refrigertor and microwave, ( 2 people to a room). They have a area also down the hall where they have a couch and big screen TV where they all hang out together and play video games. He doesn't really need a car there, no where too go nothing to do. Unless you are over 21 and then you can go to the Casinos..
Lots of studying, if they don't pass their test they will hold them back to the next glass till they pass. They are on a AFB so anything they need Navy wise they can ride the shuttle to the Navy base. Post office is in walking distnace of dorms. Oh and the most important part is they only have 4 day work weeks.. LOL .......Every other week I think it was.. So every other weekend he has a 3 day weekend...

Just wanted to share this with you. As most of you know Sully is tall. Well they found out he has something called Marfan Syndrome. Wow.. all those pediatricians and not one caught that. But the Navy did. Abe Lincoln had it, my gifted 30 year old son told me. He says his brother is going to be fine, its not life threatening but you just have to watch it. Lets hope it doesnt affect his navy career.

It's funny how they only go by last names.. and then when we see them they don't realize your talking to them when you call them by first name. LOL.
