navy wife: years ago, my son waited a long time in Pcola and JAX...it was frustrating and the norm then. He did a lot of reading, sightseeing when he could, and took Scuba lessons on weekends. I've heard recently the back up was much improved, so maybe it won't be long for your guy. hang in there

My husband has been at NAS for two weeks and is still in backlog waiting to start NACCS. Can anyone give me any kind of idea how long backlog will be? Anyone have loved one there now who has given them more information than my husband has? Backlog is so frustrating

Thank you!! I guess he flies right to JAX on Sat and has off for a few weeks, so I wanted to fly down but he'd rather I come in June so he has this time to get settled at the new base. So the day his brother gets out of school, we are heading down!! :)
