Linda, I would wear a goofy hat as long as my kids weren't with me. They would give me that look of 'don't you dare even think about it' lol   I have seen it many times! Where I live there are all kinds of people. lol  and if there is something newsworthy, I will guarantee you that the ones that shouldn't leave their houses, are the ones that give the interview. haha

I totally understand!!!  (0:   I still can't believe it.

Still don't have tickets...yeeekkkkkk!  I don't really have any rabbit ears...but

downtown Leavenworth, WA we have a hat shop that sells every type of hat

imaginable....I'm serious. We know 'visitors' by the antlers on their heads, or

chicken hats. WE residencers....(ONLY wear that stuff in our homes in private.)

When things get too much...we do go out and do the 'Chicken dance' (one doesn't even need alcohol!) you feel like a lemming...you just go along with every other nut around....let it all hang out. That relieves all tension for a few months....then we go back to our homes. It has to do with the snow. Snow, ice.....is a synonymous....for 'Chicken Dance and Yodeling' in that order.

haha  I will be able to find you for sure if you have those ears on :) 

I am staying for several days after he gets there. I am taking the entire week off and my credit card has a zero balance so I can do whatever I feel like I need to do! I have been saving for this for a while. I told my son that I am as excited as a little kid on Christmas Eve and he is my present!

The Reactor Dept. has pic on facebook.  I got to see my sailor in one of them.  If you are looking at the pics....find the only one with "bunny ears"....that's my boy:)

USS Abraham Lincoln Passes Key Maintenance Inspection

Now that they've passed their inspection, I'm hoping to hear from our Sailor!  We haven't gotten email from him for quite a while, as they prepared for this.
