Chris, I just talked to Tony and he thinks he know Nick -- although he mostly knows last names of the guys there. He got his orders this week and will be going to Norfolk after his graduation in July.

I don't think we are supposed to give last names of sailors on this site due to security reasons, but it starts with G. I think Tony may call tomorrow sometime and I'll ask him if he knows anyone from Colorado there -- someone newer in the group that he is.

Valerie, Sorry to here he did'nt get the job. But as you said, probably just as well since he is graduating next month.
I told Nick I was chatting with you... but they only know each by last name. What is Tony's last name?

Hi Chris, Tony had the board interview but didn't get the job...which is just as well because he expects to be coming home on leave on July 17 -- after his A school graduation. We're still waiting to hear where he will go after that. We are not planning on going to Biloxi for the graduation, but when he's home Tony wants to take a small trip with us for a few days -- we're thinking we might go to Santa Fe (not too far from Phoenix).

Hey Valerie, Nick at the last minute was told he couldn't go before the board yet because he does not have a GPA yet. He sounded a bit bummed. How did Tony do? Are you going to go for his graduation?

Hi everyone, I talked to Tony for quite awhile last evening. He was also going before the board for leadership. He started his last A school class today and expects to graduate July 15. The big questions now are where will he go next and when will he find out?

Hello! So how is everyone's sailor doing at Keesler? Nick is doing great. He said he is in the Color Guard and today is going before a board to be a student leader. He too said classes are going at break neck speed. From what he said, they are covering a college class a week. LOL Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi Stacy! Sorry for the delay in response... My son arrived on May 6th. He is going for AG. He starts classes on June 1. I overnighted his phone, IPod and camera to him and we are talking and texting everyday. Such a relief compared to BC. LOL He is doing well and enjoying being out of BC.

Hey Chris... have you heard from your son since he arrived in Biloxi? If so, how's he doing so far? And if I may ask, what is his Rate (job)?
