Kathy,

In civilian terms a Chit is basically a signed permission slip. Sailors have to get one in order to go on leave and for host of other things.

lj422-What is a chit?
Comment by lj1422 (Josh's mom) on August 31, 2011 at 11:03pm
Karen, it is on base..not exactly sure what it is called but someone should be able to tell them where it is.  I know they need to get an itenerary before they turn in for there chit.  I will try to get ahold of my son and ask him where it is on base.  I remember him saying he had to walk all over the base to get the chit signed by everyone that needed to sign it.

Hi guys, Hope all is well with all of you. I'm interested in finding out about C school in San Diego.  Apparently Matt will be there for three months. Is currently ET and Asaid something about a new C school in IT??? Can anyone shed some light on this cryptic info?  Happy Labor Day to All. Kathy
