Hey Jacqueline, what's AO? How far is Pensacola from Live Oak, if you don't know where that is, LOL. How about Lake City?

Thanks William. I really apprecites it!!!! He is such a good boy!!! He keeps commenting on how good that mural is. I'm coming to GL in May or June. So I'm hoping to see it first hand!! Me and another navy mom were talking and we were wondering, we know there are alot of sailors in basic who don't hyave families, and if there was a way we could form a group where we could write to them just to let them know that they are not alone!! I know when Nick was going through it, he loved getting letters and I'm sure the others will as well. Just a thought!!!

hi Jaqueline, I didn't realize you were part of the Navy admin. I just figured
if I needed info you would have the answers.I still consider you my fountain
of wisdom though, lol. I have mentioned before elsewhere on NFM's that my
computer skills need work,so since I will be chatting w/ my new group from
time to time,I thought it fair to warn you all. I am getting a little better though
it only took me 4 weeks to find this group, lol. It seems each week I learn
exactly what I need to in regards to keeping my sanity with Anthony being
at BC. I have never gone this long w/o seeing, talking to,texting or just
checking in w/ my son before. For me,that really sucks- for him, I know it's
the best thing. So when I need to feel connected, I rely on NFM's cause you
all as a group have really big shoulders. I dont care what this group is called
your stuck w/ me.
I booked travel arrangements this morning.I got to work an xtra shift last
night & I found the best deal so far so I went for it.I dont know how much time
I will get w/ my son- but we'll be there thru monday so we dont miss any
possible moment. Hey William, thanks again.

Hi everyone. I'm still waiting on my DVD. I guess everything is alot slower down south!!! So Will, have you met Nick yet? He called me today and said the mural was cool. He also said that everyone there has been really nice. It's a big change from his old ship he said, but he'll get used to it!!! He said he has his SCC class from 3:pm till midnight. He used the military time, and he had to translate it for me!!! LOL Laurie, are you feeling better?

yes he is AECF snd we are trying to get base housing, do you know how long of a wait I should expect. I was trying to stay here in CA until he got an actual place for us. I heard from his recruiter it would be best to stay on base because the electricity, heating is so expensive there due to the cold weather. I'm totally ok with living on base I just hope I can take my pets because I have no one else to leave them with here. Right now my two biggest problems are getting our vehicles there when a place is ready for us and being sure its pet friendly.

Laurie, I am the admin for the Pensacola A-School Group. I have spoke with Hoppi about finding someone as amazing as the gang here to help me field questions there. So far we do pretty good. We havent found a question yet that we couldnt answer! Great bunch of ladies too!
