hehehe Marianne that is so funny cause thats what i call mine secretly my navy mom mobile ... it has navy mom license plate removable stickers and football helmets in windows right now saying go navy for the football team ...hehehehe ...we are just a little crazy ... I am so sorry about your one friend I cant imagine the heartache that is my worst fear...

Morning friends!

Marianne ~ That is great that you are getting together with local Navy momma's. I found out that I have 2 from the RR group about 30min. from me. One in Aransas Pass & one in Rock port. When I read your post I remembered that I need to call one of them. She left me her phone number a while back and I am gonna do that right after the holidays. I have been busy with my daughter & g-baby. My daughters hubby works for TSA and he has been out of town with work for 2 weeks.

It rained here like a TON yesterday. It felt sooooo nice to have a cool wet day! after the horrendous heat that we had this summer. Marianne, you can call your car what ever you want right! and Navy Mom car is very fitting because you are a GREAT one!!!

Claudia, I have been on this site for almost 2 years and JUST found these gals! We have a huge NJ mom group, but NJ is so big that sometimes for a lunch the get-togethers are a few hours away. I have done that, but can't all the time so I tried to watch as some of the moms joined the NJ group to see how many we actually had that lived within a 45-30 minute radius and found out I have 1 mom right in my own town!!! I think getting smaller groups together if you are in a big state can allow for maybe car pools to some of the other locations and we have moms close by that if we have some of our bad days that we have someone close to go to. I had dinner last weekend with a mom whose son was killed only 4 months ago. He had only been in the Navy about 2 years or so. She and I had met prior to all of that and stayed in touch and I was so glad to see her. The last time I did was at her son's funeral and that was just awful. I pray that none of us ever have to go through with what she is dealing with right now. She has become a dear friend and I stay in touch with her because I want her to know that she will ALWAYS be a Navy mom! Just like our Patty ALWAYS being an AS mom!
Have a good saturday everybody! The weather is supposed to be half decent today so I think I will wash my filthy car!!!! Can drive around in "Navy Mom" looking dirty! Yes... I named the car Navy Mom cuz I have one of those Navy Mom license frames!!!!!! My family laughs every time I call the car that!

Very fun Marianne I had lunch today with one of the MD moms I had met a few weeks ago and we are trying to get another meet and greet function again , it is fun and a special feeling like you said they understand what we are going thru ...

Have a good weekend everybody! I am meeting with some local Navy moms on Sunday for lunch. Can't wait to meet some new moms. We live so close to one another it will be nice that maybe we can make this a more continuous thing! No one knows our feelings, but all of us here! That I know is for sure!!!!!

Ya'll are like the best est friends ever! I Thank You, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all of your wonderful words of encouragement for Wes. Claudia, you are soooo right! I have prayed (like most mothers) for Wes to find his way in this world. I BELIEVE that God is in control!!! Everything will work out for good!! :o)

Patty, I'm praying for Wes. Sounds like this is working out better for him then his original path. God has plans we just have to let him work.
And no, you definitely can not leave us. No matter what Wes has for a rate you are one of us and he is too.
