ship 09 division 033

I think that my daughter is in this division. Her recruiter gave me a bunch of numbers that ended in 33. I know that she is on ship 9 USS John F Kennedy for sure, but most of these Oct kids are. She is a Hospital Corpsman.

Is there anyone in your family that has been in the military , my husband is in now and his family has alot of military members from all the branches.Were you excited to have your daughter join?

My father in law was in the Navy. And my grandfather in the Army. No, I was not excited when she joined. She is my only child and I'm still having some tough days. She on the other hand, is probably just fine. Not your typical only child for sure!!

My son got there on the 28th. We just got his ship and div yesterday evening. He called around 10:30 pm that night, the 28th. He is going into IT. Has anyone gotten "the box" yet? We have not, hoping it comes tomorrow. Does anyone know whether it will come by mail or UPS? Thank you Robin for starting this discussion. I look forward to learning and sharing a lot!!

My nephew got there on the 28th from Minneapolis. We haven't heard anything from him yet... waiting to hear what ship/division he's in so I can start sending mail to him.

hello billie...i got my "BOX" yesterday and it came via fedex! good luck and i too am waiting to get the form letter w/PIR date im thinking his grad will most likely be Dec 30th...

We got the box today. It came through the mail!! It was not as traumatic as I thought it was going to be. My daughter walked down to the Post Office, and came home with the box. It was a little shocking though when my husband called me using my son's phone, which came in the box. When it rang and I saw my son's face come up on my phone, my first thought, was "Oh, crap, what's wrong?" Then I realized my hubby must've gotten the box and was messing with me!! Jolly joker!!
