I never received the "BOX" - at first I thought this was a horrible thing for us moms to receive but now I just cannot wait to get it so I can smell his clothes!!! WOW huh? How desperate am I? Just miss him so much I know you all will understand! In the four lines he wrote that if he does bad his PIR date would change so I don't know when I should purchase my tickets - any advice anyone??

Have you gotten a real letter yet? We did, this last week!! It was great!! He sounds like it is going well, however, when he wrote it, (on Sunday), he said that the "real" bootcamp starts the next day. I wonder if his next letter will sound just as positive. It was very strange getting a letter from my son, I'm pretty sure it is the first letter he has ever written!! I hope we get another one this week.

I have recieved about four letters now and each one keeps getting better, she told us she was tasked with being a starboard watch ,she said the worst part about it is when some one has a question no matter what time of the day she gets woke up, but overall she is really enjoying it. she did her physical test and did her swim test so far so good.

I just received my first letter from my son - mostly a form letter but yes he is in this division with PIR date of December 30! I didn't think their boot camp divisions could be co-ed.
