I did post some videos and am actually still in the process with that. I did capture some footage of the the Chancellorville, the Howard and the Gridley during a parade of the strike group when we were on the Tiger cruise. So check out my page. Remember I am no professional here, but loved watching the ships and tried to get it as good as I could on video!

Ok Marianne I will buck up and give it a try!! I have almost 2 years to work up to it!!! And it is true how many of us can say we did that!! I suppose I would feel really bad if her dad went and I missed it!! I would kick myself!! I will however look to you for coaching when the time comes!!

Tammie, There is a sign that hangs in our gym here that says "Try something that scares you everyday". I think about that sign a lot and it has brought me to do some things I probably never would have thought about doing even 10 years ago! Work your way up. Your daughter would love to have you on board and the experience you will get will be like no other. I may not get another opportunity to this again myself, but am so glad I was given it now. As I said I had a few moms who sorta "coached" me along for it and everything went very easy for me and I think it would be the same for you too! You have a little bit to think about it and to prepare don't worry we will get you set when the time comes!!!!!

Wow that video was quite something!! Thanks for posting it!!
Marianne my daughter is on the Chancellorsville we toured it when we were in SD a couple of weeks ago and man.... I was ready to get off after an hour!!! I don't know how they live on there for months at a time!! I will have to really think about the Tiger !!! Being from Colorado I'm not a water person so I would have to work up to it!!

Thanks so much for posting that video. I was supposed to be there but got rejected by the medical officer so it was great to see, sort of, I'm still a little bit bitter!!! :)
