"Frocking" is a promotion ceremony. Although she passed her exam while on deployment, she wasn't allowed to put on her second chevron until authorized to by her command. It also means she is eligible to receive her 2nd Class pay increase.

Actually... Holly must have inherited some of her grandmother's skills as she is a very creative and adventurous cook. No, this is not her first turkey and she's doing some kind of exotic rosemary fruit glaze. By the way... she was frocked to 2nd Class yesterday... woo-hoo! Now she can put on that 2nd chevron.

Paula - Man I remember my first Turkey Dinner - you could use my gravy to drywall with......All these years still can't make gravy for turkey. OH well - I can buy it at Jewel.....Happy Thanksgiving.....

Michelle that project was a lot of work but it was well worth it. I have two papers in the area doing a story on the project I can't wait to read them.

Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving... Holly's hosting a dinner for some of her friends who will not be going home either... she's doing the turkey. And... someone gave her the turkey!
