Someone needs to tell these ladies that this sight is really not up and running anymore, we all moved to Corpsman mom's and Dad's because there was trouble with posting and just tech stuff so we just moved to a new house next door.. so come on over ladies. someone needs to close this one down....

Maria yes others they are on Corpsmen Moms and Dads. One just said she got a call today - he is also on the ship Comfort.

Hi everyone! My son was sent to Haiti Jan 18. Today I received my first email from him. He has been living on a ship (didn't say which) and thought within 24 hours he would be sent ashore for 2 weeks. The tone of the email was upbeat. He was stationed in San Diego and could be in Haiti for up to 6 months. Anyone else with a Corpsman from SD in Haiti?

My Corpsman just left for Haiti this morning on the USNS Comfort. We watched his departure from Baltimore on CNN. He got 24 hours notice he was leaving... WOW

Corpsman in A school recently changed and they now have 2 phases. Guess we need to check into changing that.

Jessica, go to Sailors in A-School for Corpsman group and under the "discussions" click on "view all". There is a lot of information in these discussions...especially the one that is labeled "The Three Phases of Corpsman School" by Karen. All new Corpsman moms who have Sailors in A-School should read it. It tells a lot. Hope this is of help.

The big thing they want is a phone and computer. Both of which they are allowed to have.
