Hoorah:
CTR is cryptology. He enlisted as aircrew but couldn't pass the level 2 swim test so changed to cryptology. After C School in San Angelo, TX he is off to Hawaii. Not a bad gig!!

Thats life Mary! She had leave before C School which was end of june to first part of july which amounted to a week. She was enjoying Whidbey Island and all around the area which I can not blame her as I am from Wash State and it is beautiful there! She leaves this afternoon to Japan! She called last night around 11pm my time and had a couple minutes to talk,,Told her she better get intouch with us soon as she is able ! She has no cell phone now to use as Verizon does not cover Japan. She is going to get Skype and look into Vonage..we will see. So guess now that she is done with C School I will be on the AD Moms page more now. Perhaps I will start a new group! By the way she said there was no Graduation for C School like A school , the instructors just walked around the classroom as each airman stood up at their desk and they just shook their hands and congratulated them!!v Glad I did not miss something grand!! LOL PIR was the BEST glad I made it for that last Oct!!! Congrats on Nick getting to go to Hawaii!! We have friends and family in Hawaii!!

Oh Cora, I wish you could be there to give her a hug as well. No leave before reporting to Japan??

I hate to say this but our son is graduating from C school on Friday as well, he was informed today - he made Honor Grad! He will be flying home the same day to start his leave and then will report to Hawaii in late August.

Dear Hoorah,

Here's a big hug for you for letting go. It's so hard. God bless our sailors whereever they are serving.

Colleen, congratulations to your son. My sailore grads from "C" School in Aug too, the 14th. The 15th is his 4th Navy anniversary. He flies out to his ship in Sept. It was supposed to go on deployment last month, but is still home.
We live in the lower Yakima Valley, WA. What is CTR?

I won't be on often, but when I can.

Hugs to all Navy Families. God Bless Our Sailors and America! Charla

My son graduates from A school on August 7th and then is headed to Texas for C school. He will be a CTR. We are from Washington State so Whidbey would have been nice :0)

hello mom's!!! well we took our sailor to the airport yesterday, and lets just say it was one of the hardest things i've ever done!! i found myself on the ride back home getting a little overwhelmed w/the realness of the situation, and found quickly new strength in im not the first, last,or only mom who has,is,or was going through this. i had to reflect on the mom's i've met through this and my blue star mothers to give me proper prespective. so thank u all God bless each of u and your sailors and God bless America!!!
