hope everyone had a wonderful 4th...we enjoyed our sailor being here with us,and had a wonderful church service with him yesterday!!! he leaves the 18th for last leg of C school in san diego and his ship the bonhomme richard lhd6 in port til nov. Right now I'm in Denver waiting for my law student son's daughter to come into the world. :-)

Hi C school moms!
Charla. My son, Richard, is in C school in Virginia Beach. He's changing rates from PS to more paper pushing. ;-) He graduates on thee 14th of Aug. Then will be stationed on the Nimitz. He will have 3 weeks home with his sweet wife & beautiful kids before he's flown out to the Nimitz which will b on deployment by that time. Richard is my baby and it's so hard to be so far away from him. But if all goes well, I will get to be with his wife & kids. I plan to go down to SD for a couple of weeks then we may fly up to WA so she can see her family for awhile. It will be interesting flying with a 4yr old and two 1yr olds!
I wish to take a minute to thank all of our military and their families for the sacrifices all of you make. May you have a wonderful, fun, safe, Independence Day.

we go pick jesse up tomorrow no wait actually 2day from the airport @5:30p.m i have bought a huge banner and yard sign-welcome home menu planned and his bed freshly made,i am so excited yet i find myself anticipating with much sadness his departure date(july 18th) i do not want to spend the next few wks. focusing on that oh me oh my its late and im exhausted. the last leg of C school starts july 20 for 5 weeks then it off to his fleet...ho-hum why cant they just stay 7 forever??? Ladies do not get me wrong im overwhelmed with pride 4 him i just struggle with letting him go!! but i trust in God and love our country beyond words.. have a blessed 4th and thank u to all your loved ones serving!!!

Hey, My son is going to C school at Whidbey Island too. He starts Aug. 3. Happy 4th everyone.
