My son just settled down in Georgia & signed a lease to his first house!! I'm so excited for him. He pointed out to me what he is making yearly $$$ & oh my God it's not much at all - hopefully it all works out somehow. He gets married in 8 weeks!!

My sailor is on an immersion right now, praying for his safety and for an incredible learning experience. He is pretty excited about it....

Proudmom,

 

DLI does not fund every class for immersions.  Of those classes only a portion of the students are funded for immersions.  I can't speak to the exact percentage of students that go on immersions, but it is very, very small.  DLI generally picks those students with the highest GPAs to go.  Studies and venues vary by country.  Hope that helps a bit!
