My son just texted me a beautiful picture of him and the other sailors graduated their A school. they all passed and will soon depart for their first duty stations.

My son and 7 others did their 2nd day of strand yesterday (gas chamber and water decomp). They are taking their test today. I pray every one of them passes. My son still does not have his hard copy of his orders, and hopefully graduates tomorrow.

Hi Everyone, I too have just found this group. My son is DC at GL and is done with classes next week, he has not got his orders yet, should know today!! He did mention Riverines??

Ok this is interesting...I have been a NFM member for 2 years now and just found out that there was a damage control moms site. I was reading the reagan site and found a name " NavyDCmomma" and thought "hummm" I checked it out and joined. Thanks to NavyDCmomma I wouldn't of even known there was such a thing. We are also going to HC. This will be our second. Getting goose bumps just thinking about those awesome sailors!!!!

My son got his orders for Bremerton, Washington. He's excited. He came in 2nd in his BECC class with a 94.1. I know, I can't help but brag. Forgive me.

My son graduated BECC but now is on hold waiting for 4 more DCs to class up. They have to have at least 5 for the gas chamber and water thing. Still no orders.
