Sonya,  My son doesn't leave until May 2nd.  If you don't find anyone on here to connect with (as far as a specific leave date), add Leaving for bootcamp in April to your list of groups.  Hopefully, you will find moms on your same timeline.  Thinking of you!

My son also left April 9th from DFW area.

Hi Sonya... my son is leaving Louisiana on April 10th for arrival to GL on the 11th.  We are in full swing preparation mode, which includes packing, a going away party for family and friends and a week long caribbean cruise.  Why a cruise, you ask? Yeah so did I. He is going to go places none of us ever will, but yet he wanted to take a Carnival cruise! lol  Ah well, a little different when you're around family!  One last oh Ha before all the work begins I suppose...

Mine left the 12th and I got a phone call today. He had only been issued his 'smurfs' and hasn't even gone to medical or uniform issue yet.  Said his PIR would probably be 6/15. He sounded great but said he wasn't what he expected and laughed. It was so good to hear from him.
