Janelle - we were also wondering how 360 was doing - since we haven't gotten a phone call lately either. Sounds like they must be doing okay. I wonder how the Captain's cup went today. Our son is also in Div. 360.

Hello, I got a letter from Laura today. She is very upbeat and happy to be almost done. Division 360 may be able to get 48 hours of liberty. She said that means they might get to stay overnight with us. I have been very worried about the lack of phone calls that they were not doing good so that is nice to hear.
Sorry about April,we will keep her and her boys in our prayers.

Well, here the up date on April, she will not be graduating on the 26. She will be in RCU for the next 30 days, to recover from her hurt foot. Then we will have to see if she gets to finish boot camp. That will between her , The Navy and God of course. God Bless all of you ladies for standing with us. It will be really hard on April
not getting to hers little boys. Have fun gradation hug your children
when see them. and I mean this a nice way.I pray that all goes well for you children. God Bless Yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter's fiance graduated last October and so I knew that Mike wasn't allowed to stay with us at all. She was allowed to pick up her fiance at 8 am each morning and have him back by 9 pm each evening except Sunday, he had to be back even earlier on Sunday! So be prepared everyone......the Navy OWNS our children and there is nothing about "fairness" in the rules......the old adage is....if the military wanted you to have a family, the would issue you one!!! Just enjoy the time we do have with them and be strong for them!!!!!!

Sheri, my daughter did not say anything about being there an extra week, but they always have to go back each night at a time to be determined that weekend. As soon as they graduate they can come with us unless they have watch. But they always have to be back on base each night. The first time we went out James came and found us and said I gotta go to watch. I cried and cried.
I knew better having been in the navy but it was still hard. We had stood in line for hours getting in because it was less that a month post 9/11. But we got him Saturday and took him back and spent Sunday with him too. Mark was able to leave with us Friday go back and then we repeated that Sat and Sun. Hope this helps.

Cindy, I am sooo sorry to hear about April! That has got to be tough on all of you. You, your family and April are in our prayers!!!!

We just got another phone call from April, she is being sent to
the recover center. They told her that she has two fracture
bones in her foot. And it may take four to six weeks, before
she is healed and will have to stay there with out seeing
her boys. Thats going to be really touch on her. Thanks
for the prayers
