help.with.housing :)

Ok, ladies, I need advice. Timelines, etc...My husband called Sunday, Nov 1 and said "start packing". I want to live on base. Right now we (kids and I) are in Arkansas and of course moving to such an unfamiliar place. His orders start Nov 21st, and he said he does not have to pass through certain phases before we live together since he already has a family (which I have heard from others). I am having him sign POA next week after graduation when I see him.... anybody have any idea how to do all this? wait times for a house? Navy moving our things? I just don't know what to expect and need to know if I need to be packed like next week and if they are just gonna say, "Hey, we got u a house, we'll be there tomorrow to get your stuff." LOL
