Tammy,
You should come join us over in the Destroyer moms if you haven't already! He should have an address to the ship. It will look something like this:

ET3 (orFC3) lastname, firstname
XX/XX
USS Decatur (DDG-73)
FPO AP NNNNN-NNNN

My son's is
ET3 lastname, Sean H.
CS/CE
USS Momsen (DDG-92)
FPO AP 96672-1307

I do not know what the CS/CE means. If your son is an ET, he will have easy computer access. Mine emailed me almost every day. He even figured out how to send a text message to my phone from the ship and I could answer him to his ship's email address from my phone. The one thing that does not work very well is phone calls.

Even though he is back from deployment, he is in Batchlor's quarters so I still need to send his mail to the ship's address. If you are sending packages you have to fill out the custom's form at the post office.

The ship's mailing address MIGHT be on their web site...you can check.

PS: it is not a good idea to give out last names for security reasons.
