GOOD NEWS!!!!! I WANT TO SHARE AND THANK EVERYONE HERE!!
Hello Everyone!! I have returned with good news!
A week and a 1/2 or so I got the dreadful call my daughter didnt pass her PFA run in the alotted time. Well by thursday Nov 12th she still had not passed (by 5 seconds) however on wendsday the 11th we had flown to Chicago anyways on blind faith. Well long story short - I did go to grad day ON NOV. 13TH and I prayed no phone call was good news, but she was still in FIT and the nice offercers there granted me a 2 hour visit where we also got her Navy photos in dress attire. And then went home on Saturday. On Monday the 16th she ran with the cheif petty officer in another division who really pushed her and she passed!! Did Battle Stations Tuesday 17th and called me Wendsdsay the 18th a Navy Sailor. I screamed and shouted in my office and was so elated I didnt care.
I just want everyone to know that NO matter what your child or loved one says just encourage , I am learning that I cant contol everything and time works out everything. I dont know seriously what I would do without this place for wisdom and advice and support. THANK YOU!!!

I am so happy for you Yeah to your new Sailor.............Go Navy....my child is still in FIT an I have not heard so I guess today she will call thanks for the encouraging words!!!!

Nice story! Thanks for sharing the encouragement. 2 questions... do you know the address for the FIT program? and 2. how did you manage that visit? Mt son was sent to FIT yesterday, just before battlestations, for failing the run by 13 seconds :(
We have flights booked for this weekend. He told me not to come, but do you think I should try anyway?
also- how did that effect her A school? was she sent directly on, or did she need to wait for a new class to start?
