Ok, you are all just a little too quiet for my taste!

I'd like to invite all of you to join "Molly's Adopt a Sailor Project" group here on N4Ms. We adopt groups of sailors every month and send letter, post cards, items that they have requested and goodies. Check it out, we adopted a group of 129 Seabees in Afghanistan and have successfully sent post cards from all 50 states, gotten a corporate sponsor for the safety items they requested, letters, goodies and 4th of July celebration stuff! Join in the fun.

Jeanne-Marie, I don't know opsec by heart but the general rule is that we don't give dates, places or names until it's public knowledge so upcoming dates are usually supposed to be kept private. Someone else might know more specifics and it's all published somewhere here! i.e. I know when my son will be going out and for how long but I'm not supposed to tell people. I think you're pretty safe on the "treason" part for now, don't sweat it!! :)

Trevor is going out on the GHWBush this next week to do some more sea trials. This time they are going to be getting airplanes taking off and landing on the ship. Gosh I hope this is not a high state secret!!!! I may e up for treason!! He is wexcited and although he is not back in his AIMD group, (still doing guard duty), at least they are going out to sea again. He 'reuped' for another year so he does not get pulled off the ship when it finally does go on the world tour. We have another grand child coming in October and in all likelyhood we will be moving to Newport News or surrounding area very soon. My daughter and her two girls want to more closer to the other grandparents in Virginia Beach since her fiance (over in Qatar right now) wants to move to Va. after a years tour in Korea. I may get to meet some of you 'locals' after all and do some of the fun stuff I see on the web site. JMN
