Hey my husband, our daughter and I live in va beach. What base is your hubby assigned to?

Thanks for replying :) well he works at Norfolk base but he just deployed a week ago and its been a lil tough...

No problem, I'm always looking for other navy wives in va beach to talk/hang out with lol. My husbands ship just got transferred to the Norfolk base. I can't imagine how hard its been so far. How long will he be gone? Do y'all have any kids?

He"ll be gone for a year :o( and I was pg 2mths when he left but I ended up at the hospital. So no we don't but we"ll try again when he gets back. He'll be gone for a year.
I also am looking for other Navy wives to hang out/talk to because honestly no one will ever know what you are going through but a fellow Navy Wife.

I'm sorry for your loss! Wow that is a bit of a long time. I hang out with a few other navy wives in va beach. One her husband just gt back from deployment this past week. But your right other "normal" wives don't get the stress we endure as navy/military wives.

So, so true. Its an entirely different stress and of course life but it makes us Even stronger women and our love stronger as well for our Men. If you ever want to hang out or just have some coffee I can send u my info through mail.

Yeah that would be cool. It just has to be a kid friendly place, cause my daughter is not the type to stay in one place lol

I'm not in Va beach, but I'm in Hampton. We just moved here. What ship is your husband on?

Hi I'm happy you replyed, he's actually deployed to Afgan. And hes been gone for a week and its been tough. Its his 3rd tour but my first.
I'm actually always around Hampton, so pretty familiar with the area. Is your hubby deployed??

No, his ship is here. How often are you in Hampton? We should meet up for lunch or coffee one day.

At least a few times a week and coffee or lunch would be great and maybe a lil shopping ..lol...
