Navy For Moms

How does it work? I was told by my PCM that I would have to pay up front for my appointments and pay for half of my delivery bill up front. That doesnt sound right to me I havent heard that from anyone else and I wont see my OB til monday. Anyone know anything about it?

The BIG question is.. when did you activate your Tricare Prime? I had this problem a while ago when I thought I was pregnant. I recently got married and my hubby and I went to Tricare on the 21st of the month to switch me to his Tricare prime. Apparently I had missed the cut off by one day so they wouldn't activate my plan until the 1st of the next month (meaning I would have to wait over a month before being able to use their services).. If you are pregnant before your plan is activated then they will not cover the full bill for your pregnancy.. You have to be an ACTIVE tricare member under your spouse in order for them to cover all of your costs. Hope this helps clear things :)
I'm 11weeks prego and I havent had to pay or heard about that.
