Beachmomma, if youare sending your stockings in the APO/FPO flat rates you can send them on Mon or Wed at the latest. Sorry to hear about the flooding, be safe.

Thanks. The flood becomes an issue because we can't get off our street. I pray that the families of our Nimitz's group are safe and sound. In some ways this storm seems worse than Hurricane Isabel, but at least our power was only out for an hour or so.

Pat, I'm slow but got it done 50 goody bags will go out on Monday to the USS Nimitz...

Ok, I went to the Post Office, packages in hand, ready to send them off...and the Postal Lady told me that I had to have a specific name on the packages (rather than "Public Affairs Officer"). She said that they just got a memo on it and if it doesn't have a name, it will be sent back. Pat, do we have a specific someone's name to tag these packages with?
You can call me with it, or leave it here. I'll check again in the morning and try to get them off by noon.

Kathy, you can use LCDR Jason Salata, Public Affairs Officer for the customs form.

I was able to mail mine without a specific name. The post office said as long as it was going to a FPO/APO address you did not need it.
