Hello everyone! We are new to the Navy and this group. Our son left for bootcamp 11/10. His PIR is 1/15 and then he is off to A-School in Pensacola for IT training. So...how does it all work? Can we visit him there? When? Will he get time off to come home before being stationed? Will he have access to e-mail? Anything you could share would be welcomed!

LOL Trish, I bet I would love his sponsor, but I am glad he is happy and doing well.

Debbie~ I kinda wish he got to go to Italy too. I am positive he would of like his sponser better!!! wink wink ;o) He is getting more comfortable with his surroundings.

cashsmom, yes he will love it in P-Cola, well if he goes to Italy let me know I am the to go person for Italy. LOL Wanted Trish's son to go, that would of been so great but he is doing great and that is all that matters.

Hi Trish, thanks for helping with the project. Can't say for sure when the packages will make it to the ship. Sometimes they take a week and other times more like a month. Hopefully they'll take a month because none of the ships have storage space to hold them for weeks. I'll keep you updated.

Hello Pat~ My middle son,Cody, and I had alot of fun with the Nimitz project!! We sent a little over 300 cards and 50 goodie bags. We mailed them off on the 12th. When do you think they might receive them?? Did everyone pull through for you??
