It is Mcgrath?  I don't know much about it, may be a newer award.   I do know the Navy has a famous Mcgrath, first female commander of a naval warship.

I was trying to look it up too this a.m.  I used to think Google was my friend...but no more! ;-0  I got the same McGrath results Anti M did.

I was very interested to learn about Kathleen McGrath, and saddened she died so young.

You might try looking at the Facebook page for the George Washington.  My son was on the ship for a couple months and made sailor of the day last November...he told me to look on that page for his write up.  It took me awhile to find it, but it was under the notes area.  Good luck!
