Hey back! Sorry to hear that your sailor left. It looks like mine is leaving on Sunday. I'm leaving tomorrow for AZ. My dil is going to take me to Yuma to meet my parents.

He has his flight briefing tomorrow so it sounds like it's pretty sure. I'll believe it when he's actually gone. lol

I'll be in mourning for a couple of day. ;-( It has definitely been a blessing to be here. I am definitely worn out. I hate to leave Jen since Rich is going to be gone. These twins are a handful and Violet is just starting to walk. yay?
I'll be off of here for a few days. I'll be heading back up to WA Sat. am.
God Bless the USA and all her troops, and their loved ones.

Hi all. Well, I did make it home from Denver some time ago and am now in San Diego with my sailor and his wonderful family! It ahs been a long time since anyone has been on here! Please don't give up. Your cause is just!
My son hasn't been going to Church, but he took me yesterday. It was so wonderful going as a family and his 4 yr old daughter loved it! I'm hoping that alone will encourage them all to go as a family consistantly. The twins are starting to take steps. It's so fun!
God Bless your Sailors and our Country!

Dear Navy Mom Sisters,

Good Job Laura. I think all of you are doing a good job. Thank you for the good example.

I have missed all of you and will try to get on again before I go back home. One more week, but it seems that whereever I go I miss someone!

God Bless all of you! Charla

Hi Laura. Good job on taking control of this situation and, yes, prayer definitely works! (I don't know how non-praying moms make it thru all these things)

Hi all!
I a have not been on in a while but I want to let you know that ever since I wrote my son the letter that night about cussing and that I won;t tolerate it, he has stopped. So It is back to normal. No I do not know what he does on a daily basis there on base (but I pray that he has seen the light!) houwever with me no more! I took everyones advise and it worked. I am the mom, even as a mom of a 19 year old, I will always be mom and that is that! So Praise God that prayer works!

Hobbit's Mom, you are doing everything you can. First we have to forewarn, then rewarn. Then we pray that they will make the right decisions. If they do we show our gratitude to God. If they don't we pray that God will give them courage and strength to repent. God will be there to help us and catch them if they fall.
Have a wonderful day sister Navy moms and know there are many prayers rising in behalf of our sailors. Love to all of you! Charla

Hi ladies! Haven't been on in a few days and trying to catch up real quick this evening. Carole, I know what you mean about your fears concerning your son. My son is still so naive and has never had a girlfriend and so I fear him falling into that trap too! In fact, just Friday eve he texted that his roommate had talked him into going to his girlfriend's house for a party that evening along with a female sailor he has been friends with recently. I reminded him to be on guard, that "evil is afoot this night." What more can we do? They are young adults and have to start making their own decisions. Well, yesterday late morning there I texted and asked if he was still alive. He said that he had just woken up and that he and his female sailor friend had been forced to try to find someone to get them back to the base about 1:30 in the morning when someone "broke out the weed" at this party. Finally, they did get a hold of someone to come pick them up. They both could not get out of that situation fast enough. I felt so thankful and so proud of his good judgment. The last text said and the moral of the story is I'm never hanging out with my roommate again. LOL! Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you all tonight. I know we all worry so much. We just have to stay in prayer and trust they will always come back to how they were raised, but that doesn't keep us from having our fears and worries all the time, I know.

Okay girls, it's very, very late and I must go. Blessing to all out there! This is a great group!
