The party thing would be fun. Give him a chance to see his friends all in one place and they would come to him instead of him having to go to them.
It wa fun meeting you last weekend. I like the January idea as well. Hope there will be more on board with it. This will be a good after the holidays refresher. Hope everyone is doing well.

David was told today that he will be stationed in Gulfport and will be in Bat 7. He does not have official orders yet but he seems happy about it. Still comming home for Thanksgiving and am thinking about throwing a small party with his friends. Good idea or bad?

Hello everyone! Things have been very busy here...I hope that everyone had a great week and is ready for the weather change! I had a great time at the meet and greet, and I think we should plan one for Jan. Anyone up for the challenge? I am here in wichita so I could take care of things on this end if you would like. My son is still waiting for his orders and will be home after A school graduation right before Thanksgiving. I know he will be glad to be home and is planning on getting a car during that time.

I hope that everyone has had a good week. It has sure been busy here. I hope that everyone was able to enjoy Veterans day this week. I made sure to email my sailor who is underway at the moment to tell him thanks. My hubby and son in law went to the program here at the elementary school. Thanks to all the veterans for a job well done.

Hope all your saiors are fine. I have been glued to the weather chanel as our Steven is in Norfolk on USS Carl Vinson. I have not spoke with him since the storm hit but have check my other rooms (CVN70) and a few of the moms have heard they are fine the boat is not even rocking much.

Thank you so much. She is doing good. We are also very excied as our daughter is expecting again and we just found out we are about to have a set of twins. I am also very excited that our salor should be able to see her before he goes out on deployment.

Carmaletta, Sorry to hear about your Mom but Praise the Lord she is doing much better...Give her my best & I will be praying for her. Ladies I love reading & being a part of Ks Navy for Moms...You all take care & keep posting abt your sailors...Big Grandma Navy Hug to You All..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello ladies, it looks like you had fun with the small meet and greet. Sure wish I could have made. Been a little busy as my mom had a small heart attach so went to the lake to help her over the weekend. ( Lakelady) My daughter and I went down and got her cought up on laundry and house work and a trip to walmart.
She is doing well no damage to the heart and no additional blockages. Waited to tell my sailor until we knew everything was ok.

Denise2 Im soooo sorry that I missed getting together on Saturday. I got very busy with work and forgot to check my email. Thanks for the phone number. I will call if it is ok and maybe we can try a get together for another time. Let me know Thanks
