Oh my GOSH Brandon just called me the recruter just called him and said he could leave for BC on Sunday if he was ready!!!!! WHAT???? OK I said I was ready but now I am FREAKING OUT!!!

My son BC date is March 29th 2011. Seems like forever away! He is going in as a CS. He is excited. I think he is going to have a big wake up call. He does not do well with being told what to do or being yelled at! It is going to be great for him! LOL

Hi JD Mom. Nukes don't get their rating until after Basic Training. Jake could end up being a MM, EM or ET. He thinks he wants ET (loves all things electronic) but he won't get to choose - his preference will be taken into account but the Navy's needs come first

Many thanks to Michelle for giving us this forum. My son leaves for BC on March 8, 2011. He signed on last week for the nuclear program. Anyone else out there from the Los Angeles area?

Hello everyone :)...Some of you know me and some dont but HELLO to all anyway :)... I have been an absent creator and I wanted to apologize for that. I began college and wow it is hard! I couldnt manage N4M's and my school work at the same time :(...I want to say thank you to those that stepped up and helped by being here and answering questions. I have now completed my first 8 weeks and I am attempting to add N4M's back in to my schedule so I can update information. If there is someone that is not assistant admin but has been working in that capacity while I have been gone email me and I will promote you. I am not here to take over by no means LOL. I have 12 of these leavin' in groups and I cannot do all that but if something needs to be added or something needs to be fixed or someone has questions I will be here. All you have to do is send me a message and I will work on what ever you need :). I will pop in every now and again to say hello but other than that this is your group :).

My son Ron leaves for BC March 15, 2011. His contract is for Damage Controlman. I am trying not to dwell on his leaving and trying to enjoy every minute I can with him (of course at 17 he's much more interested in his buddies and his girlfriend then hanging out with mama!)

At least the waiting will be over, I am thrilled to have the time together but it is always lurking just off in the distance....I guess it is a bit of "fear of the unknown".
