Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Hi Julie, Congratulations on your new sailor. Are you planning on visiting your son in Texas? I went to see Greg two times and it was really nice to spend time with him. You son is going to really like it there, with the exception of the heat, Greg hated the heat and is glad to be done. There will be lots of tests and it's hard work but your son will do just fine. The time goes really fast and he will be off to his first duty station. Usually around week 5 or 6 they find out where they will be stationed.

Hi Everyone - My son just arrived in SA on 7/24. We are now onto the next leg of his journey. Any information that you ladies can pass along would be great. He said he starts on Aug. 3rd and he is really looking forward to MAA School.

Karen, congrats on your MA. My son is stationed at Whidbey Island, too. He is attached to a squadron. They are out right now. I went to visit him there before he deployed. It's beautiful there. Coming from the Midwest, it was really different. It has clean air with the ocean and mountains. I'm thinking of retiring there (in about 20 years!). Do go visit there. It's awesome.
