Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the group again lol. I haven't been on here for a long while. My husband is a Nuke MM waiting to go to power school. I can't wait until he's in proto school, so I can see him more often that I am now.

Hi Cathy! My sailor loves prototype over regular classes. Give him a job and food, and he's on it! Glad to have you with us.

Hi, does anyone know anything about the A training in Pensacola for aviation machinist mate? My son informed me that after PIR, he will only be doing A school in Pensacola for 4 weeks? Does that sound right? The recruiter told me that they have to have 180 days of training before being shipped out. I'm very confused....

Shari--Yes, a month wait is not at all unusual. It can be 2-3 months until they have the class size they want to start a new rotation.

Hello to all. My daughter just graduated this past weekend from GL. She called last night and said that she is on hold for her "A school" training in GL. Is this normal and is the delay long? Months?
