My son told me he would be going to Groton.Ct. for 9 weeks and then back to A school at GL he going for sub school I would of thought he would go to A scholl first and then to sub can anybody explain this to me. Mother of New Salior.

Hi Denise, My son had told me about the same thing,except he said he was going to Groton for sub school first, then back to GL for A school. Which kinda surprised me, but the information that I had gotten on here from others made it sound like he wouldn't be going back to GL. Wouldn't you know it, he got to Groton for sub school, and am pretty sure he will be staying there. Now he hasn't finished sub school yet so I could be wrong, from what I understand the Navy can change plans quickly. Rhonda
